Marie is a contributor to Consensus with a focus on business, finance and Environmental, Social and Governance, or ESG, topics. She graduated with an MBA with a focus on finance from the Catholic University Leuven, Belgium. She also holds a Print Journalism designation from UCLA. Marie has worked as a reporter and contributor of financial articles for Investor’s Business Daily, Chief Investment Officer, and The Daily Bruin. She won the Emerging Leadership Award from the CFA Society of Los Angeles in her function as governor and chair of the public awareness committee during her years in the money management industry. Marie loves dogs and takes long walks with her Belgian Shepherd and Collie duo. She also enjoys cooking and preparing various sorts of fondues to enjoy with friends.
